Inspection is done. Nothing major.
I've hired an attorney for the closing which is turning out to be a very good idea as the sellers attorney is giving us a hard time with one of the inspection clauses.
I have just 4 more documents to turn in at the bank, and everything with them will be done except for the closing.
I'm starting to think about appliances, and I think I'm going to get them at Sears.
I've typed up the lease agreements and distributed them to both roommates.
I've written out house rules also.
I'm pretty close to deciding on paint colors and now know where I will be buying the paint and supplies.
I have my first year of homeowner's insurance paid for.
I've thrown a LOT of stuff out, and I've dropped off 3 large bags of mine and Steph's stuff at Goodwill, with a few more bags to go.
I'm also trying to sell some books and picture frames on ebay and craigslist.
Oh, and I've started reading Unclutterer.com. :)

If you can I would look elsewhere for appliances. Everyone I've know that has recently bought from there has had problems and it will take forever for them to come and repair something-just ask my parents. We ended up getting ours at Lowes.
Thanks Amanda... I did look at Lowe's last night and I think I'll get at least 3 of my appliances there. I saw the 4th one I like at Menard's.
The house rules are a lengthy list of general, personal and common courtesy roommate rules. Who's asking, anyway? :)
